Complete Site Designs

Jim Taylor Yacht Designs

Jim Taylor is a yacht designer who needed a presence on the web, if for nothing as, else a place for people to get his email address.
As we went through the design process he decided that, actually, he should have a complete website with a page for all of his designs and a great deal of information about his business. We have worked with him extensively to create a complete website focused on usability and accessibility, that has been very successful. His Google rankings are soaring, and we have also incorporated a company blog.

Pleon Yacht Club

The Pleon Yacht Club is something very near and dear to my heart. I spent 10 summers there, learning, sailing and teaching. Later in my time there, I became the webmaster and developed the site used by the 200 some members, 50 daily visitors, and approximately 500 annual guests. The site was used and appreciated for over 3 years before being redeveloped after I left the club.

Blog Design

Adventures in Auckland

When I studied at the University of Auckland in the Spring of 2008, I needed a place to share my photos and experiences with friends and family back home. My blog was an obvious place to go, but I needed a good look for it.
In this design I tried to create a look that encompassed the "earthy and natural colors" I would experience in New Zealand. I especially like the footer of this design, as it breathes some life to the page. I have since updated the look of my blog.

Sarah Lihan

Sarah Lihan is an aspiring Olympic athlete who approached me to develop a site where she could log her travels and success to her sponsors. A blog was an obvious choice and I went to town styling it in a manner that fit her. We had long discussions and many redesigns of her logo, but ended up with a look that she really liked.

Logo Design

Yacht Sales of Greenwich

Yacht Sales of Greenwich was happy with the system that hosted their site, but needed help with a logo design. We choose a nautical theme and tried to give them a traditional and classy looking logo. They were very happy with the results and still use it today. A small amount of site tweaking was also done for YSG.
